web browser representation in your logs can be misleading

If your web logs show 98% of hits by MSIE 5.x, consider that your site
may look like absolute garbage in other browsers, and users leave
after seeing just one page.

Design to standards and accesibility, *then* ADD to that any
browser-specific customizations which don't detract from the first two.

...speaking of course of an ideal, which I realize cannot always be
met in practice.
