Lauren,
I don't want to repeat all the important reasons for (web)
accessibility and usability... by all the native English people here
whose governments already passed laws about it - I just want to ask
you something very personal:
>From all you wrote I guess that you're rather young, and probably have
seen the web for the first time when it was already "taken over" by
people that liked to pretend it being just like TV ;-)
Certainly, you're sportive: biking, skating,... maybe driving?... or
even flying?!
What will you do in case of an *accident* that leaves you impaired or
disabled, in any way? Will you retire without your web-enabled PC?
Will you deliberately give up all those informative / helpful
/entertaining websites just because they're only "made for the vast
majority *sigh*" ?
I don't think so - so please think about it... it's worthwhile.
Gerhard
