taking over domain

Hello,

Someone wants me to take over their web site creation after being stagnant 
for about 2 years.  No one who was working on it is any more.  I looked the 
domain up at networksolutions.com and it is taken and the web site is very 
old.  How do I take it all over since none of the contacts that are listed in 
the whois at networksolutions are available any more?
