Just a note to say thanks to everyone who responded so quickly to my post=20
about looking for a database expert. This list is great! I got a lot of=20
offers of help from people who really knew what they were talking about.

The outcome is that the company with the database problem has decided it is=20
less expensive for them to pay a clerk to re-enter the data into a new=20
database that they want to devise than it is to pay someone to massage some=20
very messed up data to try to get it to work right.

The lesson I learned from this particular assignment=96review how the databa=
se=20
was used and how well those who entered data followed the rules. Do it befor=
e=20
you commit a lot of time to the project or make promises you might have to=20
eat.
