I played around with the code and if you put your background image in the
table tag, you don't get the cell borders showing up.

I'm trying out a different style of design, and I've become stuck. I'm using
a image for the background in a table with the outside page being of a
darker color. I set the Table border to "0" but I can't seem to get rid of
the cell borders which are appearing in the darker color and I'm wondering
how to remove it so that the table itself appears seemless so to speak.  The
