FW: save websiteby "Katherine Pollara" <kpollara(at)home.com> |

I should have mentioned that this would be easy to do with a program like WS_FTP. Obviously, you wouldn't want to do this with Dreamweaver. However, a small site could be saved in its entirety on a zip disk. Then you can just delete the file when you are done. I use this sometimes at home and find that all the settings save properly so that I can go back and use that site name without any problems. I use the same program on a different network at university and it drives me nuts as I have to re-enter all the settings each time I use the ftp connection. It's no joke redefining the site every time you want to reconnect. You may find that if you are using the same equipment as your predecessor that the settings are all there ready to make the connection required to download them. Click on open site in the site menu to see what sites have been defined by Dreamweaver on that computer. You may just hit lucky and find what you need. Susan
