the extension can be anything you like just add

AddType text/html .html
AddHandler server-parsed .html
AddType text/html .htm
AddHandler server-parsed .htm

in a .htaccess file.

And the page you are using it on should have the SHTML extension.  I =
create
the file in notepad, and be sure to save it with the INC extension.
