Can someone please explain the "real" purpose of ANY of those so called HTML
validating programs?

I've run my site thru one ... WEBLINT .... and made the changes it showed
.... BUT .. when going back and resubmitting the site  ....  it seemed to
come up with MORE "errors" ?????

This procedure repeated itself several times .....  I finally said ..enough
.. no more  ..

Is this the norm ... ? Seems like nothing I have .. or had ...  on the page
was "ok".

I used the "WEBLINT PEDANTIC" with Microshaft .. err  soft .... settings for
all evaluations.

What are some recommended programs in this line  .....?
