It is not apparent what white space you would like to do without. Could you
please be specific?

The formatting doesn't make sense to me, so I can't recommend a way of doing
it. However, I'm sure it can be done with CSS using padding and/or
text-indent.

Your work could be much easier and neater if you took the time to learn CSS.
