We have 2000 SB edition because it came with our new workstations. However,
we had '97 prior and comparing the two doesn't bring out any significant
differences other than being Y2K ready with the 2000 version.

Unlike the significant differences between Win95 and 98, unless '97 is not
Y2K ready you might as well save the money and stick to your '97 because the
differences are minimal and upgrading doesn't hold much advantage for you.
