Hello.....

Recently, I've been experimenting with Front Page, but only because someone
gave it to me. I would never have spent the money that it costs, mainly
because I do about 95% of my coding by hand. About the only thing that I use
the Front Page for on a consistent basis, is to preview pages under
construction. (And I sure wouldn't spend that kind of money just for that.)

My opinion of HTML editors, whether it be "free" ones like First Page or
ones like Front Page that have to be bought, is that they are wonderful as
learning tools. Once upon a time, when I was getting started, I did use
First Page to do things that I just plain didn't know how to do by myself.
As time went by, I learned more and eventually was doing nearly 100% of my
coding by hand. I've found that if I let the program do the coding, it tends
to throw in garbage code that I have to take out and replace anyway, so why
not just do it myself the first time?

I do use WS-FTP as well, rather than use the FTP function of Front Page, and
find that it words very well.

Dusty
