Dick,

A(1) HTML files actually are text files.  There is no difference, only the
extension on the file name.  Just simply rename the file to have the .html
extension instead of .txt.  It's more an issue of inconvenience.

A(2) If you are using a graphic to be a background in a table cell,
Navigator won't render it because it is not valid HTML.  However,  Internet
Explorer allows it and AOL uses the IE browser.
