transparent gif in netscape

Hi All,
I have a site where the transparent gif works in IE, but not in Netscape -
can anyone clue me in as to why this is happening? I have also had a heck of
a time getting the tables to look nice in Netscape. I know it doesn't
validate yet, and any other problems you see please let me know. This is one
of my first "real" sites I have worked on. TIA
