Many thanks :-)

I've seen (I've even got a few in my page - from "borrowed" code
;-) )
- but for wide margins, spacers gifs seem the answer.
I gather that CSS2 postioning is currently not very browser-compliant, so
it's safer to wait for a few more browsers to get updated to CSS2 before
updating my code to use CSS for positioning (althoguh i use it for style, of
course )-
so that is on the "next year" pile :-)

thanks for the reassurance and tip :-)

thanks,

Hilma

I thoroughly recommend using spacer gifs, but there are many other ways too.
will add the equivalent of one space of the font size you are using.
Since HTML ignores white space for the most part, this is an easy way to get
extra spaces.

Also, CSS formatting rules provide several ways to do this. margin-right,
margin-left, margin-top, margin-bottom are just a few. I believe those are
right, but it's been a bit since I've used CSS for anything other than
rollovers and text alignment.
