I don't use Photoshop myself (I use Paintshop Pro) but its probably because
GIF's only support 256 colours. So when you save your image, the colours
are "downgraded." How the art package adjusts the colours is a seperate
issue, though. PSP allows you to change the parameters for this - does
Photoshop have something similiar hidden away ??
