Blinking Text, Animated Gifs, and Now Cable Modem!by "C. A. Milton" <camilton(at)hauntedhalloweencastle.com> |
|
I've read this thread with interest. Just got a cable modem and have discovered that when viewing many animated gifs (not to mention blinking text) that they twitch and flash at such a pace that they are pretty much hard to keep your eyes on, and very much a distraction. My own page has an animated flaming text gif on it, which now looks horrible on my screen. Sometimes it smooths out and appears ok, but most of the times when I check out the page it's not something I'd want visitors to see. Please let me know if any other cable (or DSL) modem users have noticed this. My page is at: http://www.hauntedhalloweencastle.com/ if you want to test it out. Feedback needed!! Thanks in advance, Caryl
