On the WAI-mailinglist (mailing list of the W3C-Web Accessibility
Initiative) is often written about  the problems how screenreaders render
markup language. Yes .. I have that list.... ..


Stylesheets are becoming more popular because XML (also XHTML) is not a
really markup language as HTML.
Stylesheets are  cheaper for sitemantenance.and they take less bandwith
(especcially necessary in third world countries where the infrastructure is
not so developped as in our countries) .

I think that every web developper must have a screenreader so she/he knows
how these read aloud their sites..It is very stupid to hear  when in e.g. a
adress the alt attribute "sheep"  is read aloud when you do not carefully
place the images with alt="..." in your pages...

It can be very confusing as I noticed...when I used a screenreader for
testing my pages..
