You could have a look at www.freefind.com
I have used ths on my Beginers Web Design Tutorial (www.bwdzine.com/bwdt).
There IS some advertising on the free version, but it works very nicely.
It also lets you specify your own template, so the result pages can look
like they are pat of your site. Hmm. Must update mine sometime.
