Both Unix and Linux are *very* case sensitive.  It was MS DOS that got
everybody all screwed up over case.  Break to DOS habit, and using
case-sensitive code is no harder than capitalizing the first letter of your
name...:).

If it can be eliminated or not depends on what he is using for a server.
Unix/Linux servers are not case sensitive (or so I am told) while WinNT
servers are.
