Donna:

Open your PDF file in the Acrobat Reader. Click on the OCR icon, (the little
ABC image), and select the text you wish to convert. (For the whole file,
choose Select All from the Edit menu.)

Copy it, (Control-C), then paste, (Control-V), it into Notepad and save. It
will be plain text.

Note: If the file is too large for Notepad, paste it into Word and save as
plain text.

If your on one of those feature challenged computers, (non-Microsoft
enriched -- Ahem??), just paste it into a plain text e-mail and send it to
yourself.
