I learned something new today...thanks, Kelly...:).

I'll add my voice to the others': probably the best thing to do is
get another ISP.  If AOL still has the BYOP program, you can keep
your AOL account if it's important to you but benefit from the
freedom of interacting with the Internet directly instead of
through a heavily guarded border.  As a developer, it's probably
going to be necessary anyway.

Ordinarily, you would have the choice of either text only or html
email. But
not on AOL 6.0.  There have been so many complaints about it that
you would
think AOL would provide an update that would allow you to toggle
between the
two.

Unfortunately, this isn't the wonders of modern technology, but an
incredible
exhibition of arrogance.
