I see you have received lots of responses to this.  One I haven't seen is
CaptureEze.  It's shareware and purchase price is relatively painless.  I
use this all the time.  It allows full screan capture as well as user
defined rectangle.  After capture you can do some manipulation of the image,
add comments,  print, or save to disk.
