I've created a number of pages for my agency's website recently. Its a very
big agency with some very touchy IT people. Yesterday one of them showed me
my recently created webpage on her screen. The background was grey. I said
"that's not right. I made the background white." Nope. The background on
my browser is white so I thought what I was seeing was what others would
see. Instead once it was on the server it defaulted to grey because I'd
failed to set the background colour. How embarassing.

This was a tough way to learn how to set the background colour within the
body tag but I guarantee I'll never forget it.
