Hi, Steve,

I used to have forms come in this way, and I found a

great little free program, called URL Cook, which will

"translate" the data to a very readable form. I'll send it

to you in a private e-mail, and if anyone else on the list

would like it, just let me know.

I'm not sure if it will work on a Mac, but it's a pretty

simple program; I think it probably will.

Hi
I am doing a website for a customer and they have asked for a form to
be put on it. It is a pretty basic form , just name address Tel no and
that sort of thing. I am doing this site in Freeway which is a mac only
program but really quite good. I thought I needed to get a CGI script
but that was going to cost an extra 100 or so from my ISP so I decided
to get the form to come back by email. This I have managed to do.
However I have 2 problems. The first is that the resulting email; comes
back as a POSTDATA.ATT file which I can open after a fashion in
Microsoft Word. The problem there is that things like telephone numbers
are not quite as clear as they should be and I get a load of junk in
with the message which needs a bit of intelligent interpretation. As I
have to sell this website to someone who will use a PC running windows
2000 is there a program I can get that will open POSTDATA.ATT files
that I can supply to my customer or do I have to reconfigure their
Internet Explorer to open the files.
Secondly I would like to be able to open these files on my Mac as well
so I can check them before finishing the website
