It is definitely worth the money just for the tracking and automating of
submissions as well.  About.com (7th largest web property in the world -
from MM) hired SEO guru Marshall Simmonds, and he uses it.  Anybody who says
you don't need it or it isn't worth it obviously has plenty of time on their
hands or run very small sites.  The one point to make from the previous post
is that their gateway page generator is not perfect as is.  The pages look
exactly like gateway pages with barely any content.  You might get penalized
for this.  You can still use it, but you should place the output into your
sites look and feel, add some content, etc.
