Ahem-- <g>

Would you be so kind as to tell me/us that are less well
informed, how we
find the *Print Screen* button? ;-)

All those wonderful replies assume the original query came
from someone using a PC. On the off chance the query covered
a Mac OS, there are several options:
1) Press command + 3 (press the command key and the number 3
key)to capture the entire desktop
2) Press command + Shift + 4 and the mouse icon turns into
cross hairs where you can marquee-select your area (release
the keys before dragging or the shift key will constrain
your marquee select area to a square)
3) Press command + Shift + cap locks + 4 and click to take a
snapshot of your topmost open window.
Each picture is saved on your root hard drive as Picture 1,
Picture 2, etc. Double-click on the filename to open them in
Simple Text and print them from there.

If you really ARE using a PC, your "print screen" key is
usually towards the top right, after your function keys and
near your "scroll lock" key. Alas, without additional
software, you will need to place the contents of the
clipboard (what you just captured) inside some sort of
document (such as Word or Publisher) or file (such as
PhotoShop or Corel) in order to continue capturing since
Windows can only hold one item/thought in it's clipboard at
one time.

If you are attempting to capture a browser window on a PC
using IE5, go to FILE > SAVE AS> WEB PAGE, COMPLETE. All
html and related images are stored in the location of your
choice. My default appears to be in 'My Documents.' I
mention this last option because I am not entirely sure just
what it is you want out of the page, nor am I sure what you
want to do with it once you have it. All legal, with
permissions, correct?

Sheesh! Back in the old days, I hit the print screen key and
it really did send stuff immediately to my printer. I think
I was still in DOS 5 or Windows 287 at the time, though.
Talk about your dinosaurs! <g>

Did this help?
