Like Jim Allen I eventually found the same thing, and also by the same
method.

Then by removing this suspicious looking stuff from 5 or 6 lines in the
second table, the page stopped crashing:
<p align="center" style="border-right-style: solid;
border-right-width: 1">

Apparently Netscape can't digest that code.

Very interesting problem!
