And the fact that some WYSIWYG editors out there still even in
there latest
releases default to '.htm' is annoying.

Dreamweaver4 still defaults to .htm, but I try to remember to add
the l at
the end since all my other files are .html.  I find it only takes
a  minute
or two to do a rename *.htm *.html.
