This is a GREAT link.  There are three generalities that struck home.

1.  Pixel size seems to be a good choice over Points and the old HTML size=1
way of doing fonts.

2.  For Mac's avoid anything smaller than 10 pixels.

3.  Sans Serif fonts come across better for Internet use.
