should be

body {font-family: Palatino, Times New Roman, serif; font-size: 11pt; =
color: #ffffff; background: black; text-align: center; =
font-weight:normal;}

may be the problem

I wrote the following web site a couple of years ago. I have a very
rudimentary understanding of Cascading Style Sheets, but the site worked
very well. That is until IE 6 came out.
