Anyway...    Not all statistics are useful to everybody but some statistics
are useful in web design.  Stats like what makes people leave sites with
shopping carts (guess what - the biggest hurdle is high shipping costs).
Stats like how many people are using broadband, and what browsers they use.
that's the sort of stats that I find helpful in deciding HOW to design a
site.  Like the javascript stats I mentioned earlier.

What is your market?  The US?  Think you can get away with sites that are
graphically intensive?  Think most people have broadband?  Look again.  9%
of households have broadband internet access (according to these stats).
44% have NON broadband access.  47% of households have NO access at all.
Hmmm.  Graphics optimization still sounds like a good thing....  And maybe
there's still a place for conventional advertising, even in the US..
