The background attribute in the td will not validate. I imagine there is a
way to accomplish this using CSS, but haven't dived into that pool head
first yet. While the above won't validate, it does work. Now, for which
browsers and versions it works on, I can't remember. I do believe it works
in the most popular browsers and versions. Either way, you are faced with
some browsers not being able to see the background image in that cell.
