All,

Gregor replied to my reply privately.

However, I asked a public question directly relevant to this discussion.

With respect to Gregor's right to privacy, I am extracting just that
portion relevant to this discussion and including it here. Gregor, if you
would like me to reply publicly to the balance of your private message I
will be happy to - but it is your decision.

**You all do not get the wrong idea. Gregor DID NOT flame me, nor are we
arguing. **

I will follow that excerpt with another boring monolouge.

!! Enjoy !! ;-)
Fuzzy.

"XHTML 1.0"

Start there. You'll find several.

Now that boring monologue . . .

I have to say that in my opinion building commercial or informational pages
to this DTD *at this time* is probably not a good idea.

Obviously, you did not say you were doing that, but I think what is
important here is the concept behind that opinion.

XHTML, XML _ and _ CSS are superb tools. I include a plea for wide CSS
support in my daily prayers, and I'm starting to make a bundle with some
XML development stuff.

But.

If your design intent is to expose the widest possible audience to your
products and or information in a stable, predictable and esthetically
pleasing manner NONE of these are the right tools for the job.

Absolutely not. DO NOT take my word for it. Block out one full evening of
your life's calendar and go to:

http://www.hwg.org

and

http://w3.org

spend the night. And see for yourself.

HTH,
Fuzzy
