All,

I'm HONESTLY not trying to start a fight. But I am still struggling to
understand this mentality and I'm hoping to get some clarification as there
has been a rash of examples of this thinking on here of late.

We all know Fuzzy constantly harps: Write VALID HTML and put a link on the
page to PROVE it is valid HTML. Then when customers start calling, not only
are you not "on the spot" but you actually MAKE POINTS with the customer
for having had the forethought to write compliant code and put the link on
THEIR page to prove it.

It matters not a BIT what NN will or will not do then. You can PROVE it is
not a problem with your code - and MOST importantly, so can your client.

Then . . .

We have a BUNCH of people who load this and load that and ~try~ to load
this and ~try~ to load that (NN 6 pops to mind) in an attempt to find out
what is the problem with their customers site. OR they take the time to
look at the work on two or three browsers ON THEIR OWN MACHINE (I have yet
to figure out how that is supposed to represent ALL viewers EVERYWHERE, but
that is another rant) and BS themselves into thinking that is the way the
rest of the world will see it.

My question: Option number two MAKES SENSE TO YOU !?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!!??!!?

Fuzzy
