Hi guys...

Well, I have just had a most er..."interesting" experience.

I signed into Geocities to upload a new site and it accepted my signon name
and password just fine, along with all the usual welcome stuff.

I went into File Manager and proceeded to start the upload process but
nothing would upload...luckily!!
Scrolling back to the top of the screen, I find that I am in a total
strangers File Manager!!!!

Unable to believe my eyeballs, I signed out and started again....the same
thing happened. I have tracked down the email address of the other person
and sent them a note. Interesting that they too are in Australia. Our names
and email addresses are nothing alike except that we both use the same ISP.

Looks like the hacking of Yahoo over the last week or so may have had an
even greater effect than suspected. Who's getting into my File Manager now
? ....I have no idea. I have emailed them pointing out my particular
problem but I'm not holding my breath waiting for a reply.

Moral of the story. If you have stuff on Yahoo/Geocities, be warned, that
your File Manager is probably wide open to anyone.

Kym
