Now wait a minute !!

Don't you think the users mentioned above constitute LESS than the number
of people using older browsers (say, version 3.X and below)?

YEA !!!! Is the answer to that.

ignored !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Woops. All of a sudden that doesn't make much sense does it?

You look at any numbers you like. I'll bet my two typing fingers (BOTH of
them!) that there are more folks using 3.X and below browsers than there
are using screen readers and surfing with images turned off.

Wow. Suddenly TWO faces on the same side of the coin!!!

NOT aimed at you directly Bryan !! Seriously !!! PLEASE do not take this
message as a personal affront to you!! But you provided and EXCELLENT
example of why this whole deal over using transitional DTD's despite
knowing viewers can not see the stuff correctly is so DUMB (obviously - in
my opinion!).

It's cool to cater to a TINY user group, but not worth the effort to expose
your customers sites to a lot more potential BUYERS by writing validated
NON transitional HTML???????

Now ~that~ sends my tiny mind reeling!
Fuzzy.
