A disclaimer is ~mandatory~ unless you have far more money than you will
ever need already.
I am a little confused by your having to back your work, but not being
allowed to control the code. This is like being a fireman - but not having
access to water - and the town is still holding you liable for putting out
fires _ with water _.
You can't get there from here. If you are going to use ANYTHING but
ratified validated code you ***** ARE ***** going to get bitten in the . .
. well, you know . . . if you have "guaranteed" the integrity of the page.
