Off Topic, but HELP

I apologize for this being off topic but I really need help. Is anyone
familiar with a Javascript that can execute itself from within an FTP site,
demolishing the main or index files, from someone simply accessing an HTML
file? Is there a way to recover from this or are the pages just
permanently just toasted? The file size of the original file has not been
altered. However, in the servers root directory the DNS pointers have been
changed so that the domain is no longer accessible from outside the system.

Any help or suggestions, or info on how this was done will be
appreciated. Please respond off list.
