Hello, again Basics Members:

Let's skip the formalities and get to the point. As you all know, the
thread(s) <SUBJ: Lawsuit Question or A Pending Lawsuit) is not within the
Charter of the Basics list - as a matter of fact it couldn't be more off
topic for this list. It is also a continuation of the thread that I
believe the INFO to the list yesterday made clear was over.

We /will/ now get back to discussing matters related to website design and
creation, which includes "anything reasonably related to HTML authoring" -
in a constructive, informative and helpful manner. Legal issues are best
discussed with your attorney and off this list. Additional discussions on
this thread, or offshoots thereof, will be considered in direct violation
of our request to get the list back on topic.

Please review the Charter of the HWG-Basics list:

<http://www.hwg.org/lists/hwg-basics/>

If your post is not within the charter simply do not post to the list and
disrupt the rest of us here to learn and share information. I need to ask
all of those who are seasoned members to assist in our efforts to keep this
list noise free. Before any of us post, take a moment and ask if it is a
constructive useful post to the majority of members on the list - if it
isn't - send it by private email. Let's set an example of the way we
communicate here - which is not to get led into childish bickering and
threats. Most of us are here to learn and share information in a
constructive manner. If you cannot play nice, take it to private email and
keep it off this list.

The HWG's lists will not be used slander, threaten or otherwise attack
other members. Members who continue with this type of behavior /will be/
removed from the lists.

Please feel free to contact the List Guides at lg-basics(at)hwg.org should
you have any questions about this matter.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation!

Virtually,
Judith
