HTML Writers Guild home page does not validate??

Hello.....

I know that validation is a good thing..... so I was surprised to find that 
the HTML Writers Guild home page,   http://www.hwg.org/  , does, not 
validate at  http://validator.w3.org/  .  This is not a "dig" or "slam" at 
all..... I just find it interesting.  Perhaps I am interpreting the results 
incorrect??
