OT - retrieve files emptied from recycle bin

Hi all.  Sorry this is OT but I need quick help if possible.  I just accidentally deleted some files and then emptied the recycle bin.  (Been a LOOONG day.)  I know there's got to be some trick to get the files back. Anybody?
