I used to use Counter.com for my counters on several sites. They wouldn't validate at 4.01 Transitional, so I wrote the tech support who said they write their code for 3.2. So I changed to a counter that would validate. This was over a year ago so maybe they have changed by now.
BTW, I checked the url above and can't anything on the page about 13% of visitors not having JS.
