table problem

Hi All,

one of my clients wanted some text added to his home page so I put it under the left menu but now the colored space under the logo is too deep and I can't find the problem. I have validated the page and tried everything I can think of.  This only occurs on the home page so it's something to do with the text I put in the menu I would assume.
