white space in table and program to input data

Hi All,

I'm having a minor problem with getting white space out of a table on the following page. I've made sure the table tags have no spaces in them and the page validates so I'm stumped.

But also I would like to know if there is a program that would help me to input data like what is in the pedigree chart below this table. It took me 1.5 hours to type it in and format it--it needs to be indented exactly as shown on this page. We are preparing to set up a horse classifieds site so need to be able to set it up so the owners themselves can input this data. We checked with e-Classifieds an they do not have this option.
