Hi There:

You asked

>Does any one know anything about the life expectancy of a CD??

I get involved in a lot of CD duplication packages in the pharmacuetical
industry and spoke with one of my vendors. His opinion is that if you treat
them with respect, i.e. don't store them in a damp basement, or drag them
along your desk and knock 'em about, they should last indefinitely. If you
are less than careful with them, expect 2-5 years.

Hope this helps....
