As far as I know, there is no way to avoid that if you are cutting and =
pasting the URL itself. Though if you are using and sending to an HTML =
enabled mail client, you can simply use an anchor tag and label to make it =
fit.

Example: <a href=3D"http://www.thisisalongurlthatkeeps.com/ongoingandgoing=
/andgoing/andgoing.html">But This will fit just fine.</a>

Hope that helps :)

Hello,

Haven't posted for a while so hopefully, I'm not too rusty...
Quick question as to if there was anyone with experience in shortening URL
hypertext lengths within email.

I have noticed that email clients tend to truncate/<RETURN> after the 76th
character. This is prevalent in Outlook and AOL email. When the URL
truncates, the 'link' is essentially broken. Cutting and pasting also does
not necessarily work since the <RETURN> cuts the URL. Is there a way =
around
that constraint besides making the URL shorter, which we cannot do?=20

Just Curious,
Dennis
