Hi Andries,

As far as learning JavaScript, try out this book: The Book of JavaScript =
(written by Thau!). It's a very good starter book, and helped me =
incredibly!

As far as WYSIWYG editors go, I take them with a grain of salt, personally.=
I prefer to use Notepad for all of my scripting/coding. The only thing =
I feel that they're good for is initial page layout with tables. That way =
you can see the tables without having to guess. I've been looking into =
Macromedia ColdFusion though, and it sounds neat. Dreamweaver is an =
awesome FTP program, though I don't particularly care for it as an editor.

Never had experience with NetObjects Fusion, so can't say on that one. I =
say, if you like it and it's good, then go for it. After all, what you =
are most comfortable with is what is going to let YOU create better pages.

Hello out there,

I'm fairly new on this list and jound HWG recently
For making my sites I always used Homesite (version 5 now) and i=20
must say it works fine for me.
I want to make my pages more dynamical so i'm trying to learn some=20
javascript. Not having any programmers experience it's a tough job. I=20
really feel stupid sometimes but I will succeed.
Now my questionor rather two questions.
What is the best way too learn javascript or should I put more time in=20
Perl?
The other question is I stumbled on NetObects Fusion ( a trial=20
version) It's a wysiwyg editor. Easy too use and can make some nifty=20
pages. It's limited in templates I guess Does anyone of you have=20
experience with this program? Should I buy it or is it a waste of=20
money (about $100).
I tried to work with Dreamweaver but i couldn't really get the pages=20
like I wanted them.
