Oh, and the reason for your change is probably that the software stopped
resolving the IP address' it was given (probably to cut down the load on
the server).

I've noticed on my counters that IP Addresses after 9/5/2002 are all
showing
numerical values ONLY - no letters whatsoever dispersed among them.
Has
there been an across-the-board change in formatting of IP Addresses or
something? If not, what is causing this?

As an example, check this:
http://www.bennettsfinejewelers.com/cgi-bin/counter/visitors.cgi?date=09/05/

2002
and then this:
http://www.bennettsfinejewelers.com/cgi-bin/counter/visitors.cgi?date=09/05/

2002

I started using a better counter script last year, but these are some
hold-overs from existing sites. Any ideas?

Thanks,
