Valuing Intellectual Property and Licensing Issues

Howdy,

I have a client who has compiled a glossary of money-related terms
(http://www.moneywords.com). He has recently been approached by a few
companies about selling or licensing it to their web sites for content.
My client is pretty much in the dark as to how to value his intellectual
property or the business issues related to selling or licensing the
database of terms.

I'm looking for pointers or references that deal with valuing
intellectual property and licensing issues.  Can anyone suggest some
good places to go to for information on this?
