One thing I've learned is that anything you put online can be stolen.
Unless you have the money to hire a competent security staff, you should
prepare for this in advance.  You don't have to allow it without protest,
but be aware that you will often be providing free profit for others and
will probably never even know about it in most cases.

Recently I've been considering selling different fairly complex PHP
scripts I've written.  Seeing as how the most business I've conducted
online in the past has been simple freelance assignments for various
clients, I'm not quite sure as to how the best way of going about this
is.  So I was wondering about things like licensing, collecting
payments, best way of distributing the goods, other legalities, and
anything else I may have overlooked.
